NaturKultur is a grass-roots NGO that is founded by an EVS volunteer who after finishing the EVS experience in Slovakia and she wanted to offer same kind of life changing experiences to other young people in the northwest of Germany, since there were no organizations providing those kind of opportunities. In 2010 it started as an informal group who organized a Youth exchange, to later register the NGO NaturKultur in 2011 and focus on organizing mobilities for young people between 13-30 in the region Ammerland. In the first three years the focus was on youth exchanges, local youth initiatives and training courses. Since 2014-2017 NaturKultur has focused is also present in the region of Bremen. The focus of the organization was on developing quality and sustainability of youthwork, making alliances with other NGOs to grow at
the same time. This approach created synergies that helped many other NGOs and informal groups to grow, while NaturKultur was growing. In 2013 was the first training course “train the trainers” who had its 6th edition in 2019 and its one of the most recognized trainings and center of innovation in youthwork and NFL.
Our target group are young people from the wide spectrum of the local society and especially encouraging the ones from minority and migration background, different kind of additions, young
people with disabilities. In order to reach those young people, we cooperate with organizations who address young people with fewer opportunities on daily basis, to whom we also offer opportunities (IBIS for migration/refugee background, Tanzabar(dawn sindrome), Friedehorst and Blauschimmel for young people with disabilities, MOB Bremen and Jugendhaus Osterholz-Scharmbeck etc). We also have very active social media community with around 4500 fans and followers.
We wanted to increase our capacity to organize and send more young people on meaningful and life changing exchanges – therefore two more young people joined our organization who became responsible for creating and delivering quality hosting and sending opportunities and to make sure that all of the groups are well prepared for the experience, we have quality partners abroad and many meaningful projects.
Since 2018 we are creating series or workshops on local level that range from arts – photography, poetry to cooking workshops and networking events, theatre workshops to Young people on English and German language. We have planned for 2019 different kind of civic engagements workshops, languages (German), soft skills workshop and activism activities (such as Guerilla gardening).
Since 2018 we became active in one more region – Osterholz where we started cooperation with
the youth services, we are helping the region to develop youth work practices, to be more involved in international youth mobility

KÖZ-Pont Ifjúsági Egyesület
The target group of the Centre Youth Association are people aged between 10 and 30. Those people who would like to do something for their community, through themselves. We provide space and opportunity for them to become parts of the society. Those working in our Association accept as a common value the openness, creativity and trust towards each other. In our community we realize these values through help, support and teamwork. We provide support for informal youth groups in the framework of the Association and with respect towards each other’s interests. We also consider it our goal to empower young people and to operate a network of volunteers in the North- Plain region. Those young people who get in touch with us can have such experiences that can be determining factors in their lives.
To accomplish our aims we have many colourful and diverse projects. Regarding our regular activities; one of our volunteer program, the Community Volunteer Service gives opportunity for students to do something for their community. We have such partner institutions as Rehabilitation Center for People with Disabilities, Tündérkert Old People’s Home, the Animal Shelter but we focus our efforts on the children as well. We organize activities for under-aged handicapped, orphans, deaf, blind and visually challenged children, etc.
We have a lot of partner institutions in Nyíregyháza for example: City & County Government, Youth Roundtable of Nyíregyháza, AFS Hungary, Mustárház IITI, HUMAN-NET Foundation, Inspi-Ráció Association, New Generation Contact Point.
We organize youth events and through our Genius Club we are looking for young talents. Not only to find them but to give a mentoring for them, but also to get in touch with such places and institutions that would be willing to accept these talented people.
We have founded the Fellowship of Students’ Self-Government in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County. The goal of this informal youth organization is to keep up the good relationship with the students’ self-governments of secondary schools. This organization is truly for the young people, therefore it can only operate with them and by them.
We also offer the youth living near our office an alternative way of spending their spare time at the Centre Point Community Space. Alongside, we educate them on drug prevention, environmental protection and a healthy way of living. We organize many sports events not just in our county but in the region as well. In addition, lately we have introduced our newest area where those who are interested in the media can try themselves out with our new program called: Let Your Voice Be Heard! This is an opportunity for the youth to write in a students’ monthly magazine and to be part of a radio program written and edited by them
